Rugged Mountains, Dense forest, please water bodies and mighty royal Bengal Tigers, all these describes well, Satpura national park. Nestled in the Satpura range of central India and covering an area of 524 Sq km, the park is known for its rich biodiversity. It’s one of the popular parks of central India and also close to the capital city of the state.

Once again Tiger safaris are the main attraction of the park but there is a healthy population of leopard, sloth beers and wild dogs. Indian giant squirrel is also a prime attraction of this park. It is also a good destinations for bird watchers as it s the home of variety of birds i.e hornbills and peafowl too. Over 1300 species of plants are found in this park which describes the rich biodiversity here.

Apart from this, the park is unique in terms of experience as it is the only park in India which provides all kind of jungle safaris i.e Jeep safaris, Elephant safaris, Boat safaris and walking safaris too. As it is not very well connected from other tourist spots of the state, it can be counted among some of the major national parks which are not very crowded. This makes it a good option for wildlife enthusiast.
