India indeed is the land of diverse nature. Though there are many tourist destinations which are known to in the travel world but north east part of its, is still unexplored. The region is known for its rich culture, heritage and natural wonders.
With this itinerary we have tried to bring some of the hidden marvels of this region which will amaze the tourists. The itinerary satisfies the taste buds of an adventure enthusiast as well as showcases the cultural heritage of this land. However we would like to advice that this adventure tour is for those who are fond of Mother Nature and can compromise on the luxury as the infrastructure here is reasonable only
On arrival at Delhi airport/railway station, our representative will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel.

Day 02 City Tour of Delhi
This morning after breakfast first you will visit old Delhi. The Raj Ghat, Red fort & Jama Masjid are important places to visit, you may also visit Chandni Chowk, spice market etc. Later on proceed to visit the New Delhi. The Qutub Minar, tallest stone tower in India, imposing India Gate and the Rastrapathi Bhawan, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Lotus Temple and, newly built Akshardham temple are of much significance.

Day 03 Fly to Guwahati
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight for Guwahati.
On arrival you will be received and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon you will be taken for the city tour of Guwahati that will include Kamakhya Temple, dedicated to the goddess Shakti (goddess of power). It is one of the oldest of the 51 Shakti Pitha and hence the temple has immense importance for Hindus. You will also visit the Temples of Hajo, which is a pilgrimage centre for three religions: Hindus, Buddhists, and Muslims.

Day 04 Drive to Cherapunjee (170 kms, 4 hrs)
After breakfast you will be driven to Cherrapunjee, known as the wettest region in the world. En-route you will visit Borapani Umiam Lake, formed due to the creation of a dam on Umiam river.
The lake provides an amazing view of the surrounding hills especially during sunset and sunrise.

Day 05 Explore Krem Mawmluh Cave
After breakfast you will be taken on you first cave expedition. This cave is located half a km west of Cherrapunjee and is the 4th longest in the Indian sub continent. The approximate length of the cave is over seven Kms. Also visit the Waterfalls of Cherrapunjee.

Day 06 Visit to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge
Early in the morning you will walk to an ancient engineering marvel, the living root bridges. It is said that Khasi Tribesmen had weaved the roots of the trees to make bridges across streams.
Evening is at leisure to experience the breathtaking views of the Khasi hills and the plains of Bangladesh

Day 07 Drive to Shillong (55 kms, 2 hrs)
After breakfast you will be driven to Shillong, the capital city
En-route visit Elephanta falls and Shillong peak. The magnificent views are a treat to watch.

Day 08 Tour of Shillong
After breakfast you will be taken on the city your which will include Shillong peak- highest point of the state and provides a bird eye view of the city, Butterfly museum-A private museum showcasing approximately 1600 species of butterflies and moth and Cathedral of mary church- one of the most beautiful and popular church of the city

Day 09 Drive to Guwahati and fly to Delhi
After breakfast drive back to Guwahati airport (100 kms, 2.5 hrs) to board your flight back to Delhi.
On arrival check in to your hotel. If time permits explore the nearby markets to get some souvenirs’ for your loved ones.

Day 10 Fly Back
In time you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight to the onward destination.
