Jodhpur is rich in architectural marvels which is clearly visible at the grand Mehrangarh Fort built on a hill-top. Also located is the Umaid Bhawan Palace, an enormous palace built in 1929 by the Maharaja. The Palace is now converted into a small museum as well as a luxurious hotel with 347 rooms with some in Art-Deco style.
