Apart from just relaxing the city has lot to offer for culture and heritage enthusiast. The city was found in 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh and has since been known as the capital of Mewar Kingdom. Udaipur is also covered with architectural marvels such as Lake Palace, a white Palace in the middle of Lake Pichola now converted into a hotel, the City Palace and its museum as well as Monsoon Palace on a hill top.
