DAYSThe itinerary goes through the foothills of Himalaya taking you a soothing and spiritual journey. The trip starts with the visit to the holy city of Amritsar where you visit the mesmerising Golden Temple. You then head north towards the foothills to explore the popular spiritual town of Dharamshala where the Tibetan monks have settled and you get the opportunity to visit various monasteries in this area. The next stop is at Paragpur – a rural village with heritage feels as you stay in an old manor house. You then visit Shimla, the former British Hill station as you witness the rich architecture of the Raj period. The final stop is at the holy city of Haridwar as you get the opportunity to experience the hindu ceremonies and spiritual atmosphere.

Day 01 Arrive Delhi |
On arrival at Delhi airport/railway station, our representative will meet you to pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi. Overnight At Hotel |
Day 02 City Tour of Delhi |
This morning after breakfast first you will visit old Delhi. The Raj Ghat, Red fort & Jama Masjid are important places to visit, you may also visit Chandni Chowk, spice market etc. Later on proceed to visit the New Delhi. The Qutub Minar, tallest stone tower in India, imposing India Gate and the Rastrapathi Bhawan, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Lotus Temple and, newly built Akshardham temple are of much significance. Day 03 Train to Amristsar |
Transfer to railway station to board early morning Train to Amristar Return to Hotels for Lunch Later in the afternoon, you will be taken to visit the Wagah Border, between India and Pakistan, where you can view the ceremonial changing of the guard at dusk. Overnight At Hotel |
Day 4 Tour of Amritsar, drive to Dharamshal (5hrs) |
Today you will be taken for city tour of Amritsar which will include a visit to the magnificent Golden Temple which is the lavishly decorated holiest shrine of the Sikhs and the Jallianwala Bagh which commemorates the 2,000 Indians who were killed or wounded at this site, shot indiscriminately by the Colonial British forces in 1919. In the Afternoon you will be driven to Dharamsahal- Perched atop the idyllic Kangra valley, Dharamshala is a cool serene hill station. the town is divided between Lower and Upper Dharamshala. Upper Dharamshala or McLeodganj is the headquarters of His Holiness The Dalai Lama, who settled here after his flight across the Himalayas following the Chinese invasion of Tibet in October 1959. Day 5 City tour |
Today you will explore the town of Dharamshala…. You will visit The Namgyal Monastery, known as Little Lhasa and a major attraction in McLeodganj. From McLeodganj, there are a number of interesting walks. The shrine of Bhagasunath is a 2-km stroll. The shrine is famous for its ancient temple and also has spring which is considered sacred by the Hindus. You may undertake this walk in the afternoon returning early evening. Overnight At Hotel |
Day 06 Dharmshala- Paragpur |
Drive to Paragpur- a quaint little hill village recently declared a ‘heritage village’. En route you may visit the historic Kangra Fort. The Fort, also known as the Nagarkot or Kot Kangra, is built on the top of a hill. Later in the afternoon you will explore the heritage village of Pragpur and its Village Crafts Museum, the building of which is about 300 years old and has been restored by Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH). Day 07 Paragpur- Shimla (7 Hrs) |
This morning you will be driven to your next destination, Shimla (7-hour drive) with en-routes stops . You will arrive in Shimla in the evening and would be at leisure. Overnight At Hotel |
Day 08 City tour |
Explore Shimla today. The summer capital of British India sprawls along a crescent-shaped ridge at an altitude of over 2100m in southern Himachal Pradesh. The famous main street, The Mall, runs along the crest of the ridge and is lined with stately colonial houses. Christ Church, Gorton Castle and the fortress-like former Viceroyal Lodge reinforce the English flavour. Overnight At Hotel |
Day 09 Shimla- Mussoorie (7 Hrs) |
Leisurely, drive to Mussoorie -also called by the name of "Queen of hills" is an attractive hill station. Some famous tourist spots of this place are Lal Tibba, Gun Hill, Kempty Falls and Municipal Gardens. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day free for you to rest at your hotel. Day 10 At leisure |
Full day at leisure to explore the region with your driver, you may like to visit Gun Hill, Jharipani Fall, Kempty fall, Mussoorie Lake etc. Overnight At Hotel |
Day 11 Mussorie-Haridwar (2 hrs) |
After breakfast, leisurely drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival check-in at your hotel The holy city of Haridwar, translate as the Gateway to God, with 'hari' meaning god and 'dwar' meaning gate. Haridwar is regarded as one of the seven holiest places to Hindus, due to the belief that drops of the elixir of immortality were spilt here. Rest of the Day is at leisure. Overnight At Hotel |
Day 12 Rishikesh Excursion |
Full day excursion to Rishikesh (45 Min drive) with Lunch (included) at a local restaurant. Here you will visit Ashrmans, tempels and Lakshman Zhoola. Return back to Haridwar. Overnight At Hotel |
Day 13 Haridwar-Delhi (by Train) |
In the morning you are free to the local temples at Haridwar. Evening you will be escorted to railway station to board your train to Delhi (Departs Hardwar: 1808 Hrs/ Arrive Delhi: 2245 Hrs).Upon arrival in Delhi you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight At Hotel |
Day 14 Delhi-Fly out |
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport to boar your onward destination flight. |
